CASTROL VARIOCUT C 462

Castrol Variocut C 462 is a heavy duty blend of highly refined mineral oil and selected neutral fats. 

This product is particularly suitable for specialised machining operations on cuprous materials, where the presence of active sulphur would be undesirable: applications include gear-cutting, milling and turning of marine and other duty bronzes with low machinablility ratings. However, Castrol Variocut C 462 is equally suitable for cutting a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials, thus eliminating the need for coolant change when switching work materials.

Castrol Variocut C 462 is useful for low quantity supply to jig borers where the particular work in hand makes a neat cutting oil desirable.
